About the Business

Visit Caulfield Conservatories if you’re looking for inspiration for your new conservatory; our talented team of architects brings even the most challenging design to life and we use only the highest quality materials in the UK, many of which are sourced directly from German manufacturer Solarlux, a firm renowned in the industry for its design innovations. The company is one of Solarlux’s only UK partners.

The conservatory has functional origins, but today they maximise the space available for a comfortable modern lifestyle, making the perfect hub for family life, as well as an inviting room for entertaining friends.

As functional as it is decorative, a Caulfield conservatory or wintergarden creates a space where your imagination can run free and lifestyle choices can be fulfilled.

Recognising that clients should only have the finest service, products and finishes, Caulfield have spent years forging working relationships with some of the interior design industry’s leading brands and suppliers; window and glazing solutions from the likes of Solarlux and Internorm, Rolf Benz furniture, otherworldly tables from Draenert and Ecosmart fires.

We instructed The Caulfield Company to build a Sun Lounge to our House (which is Grade 2 listed) according the Planning Permission. When they wanted to start the work, we realised that The Caulfield Company wanted to alter the building to fit their product instead to supply a product that fits the building. Work is now going on for over half a year, it is still leaking between the house and the Sun Lounge and we do not have a date for completion. The Caulfield Company requested full payment in advance! We found the Directors Mr M Caulfield and Mrs Kasia Caulfield very arrogant. We do not recommend this company.

Please be very careful of The Oakfields Group. Their directors are Mark and Kasia Caulfield, the very same as the former The Caulfield Company (now in administration). You can read several negative reviews of them, from other reviewers, over at Houzz dot co dot uk. I have had an appalling experience with The Oakfields Group and lost thousands of pounds as a result. Paid a hefty deposit upfront under the full belief, in good faith based upon the very clear impression they gave in all our preliminary conversations, that they were undertaking all aspects of the work - design and complete construction. Only to be told several weeks AFTER paying our deposit, that in fact key aspects of the building works are excluded. Oakfields do NOT "fully install" their winter garden constructions, despite the fact that this is explicitly and prominently stated on the Order. In fact, buried in their fine print are several exclusions, none of which they brought to our attention prior to us handing over the sizeable deposit. As a result the ‘Total Project Cost’ they quote is NOT the total cost of your project, because you will have to pay additionally for many aspects of the building works. We have not been refunded a penny, despite feeling being misled in the manner described. I do not recommend The Oakfields Group.

Similar experiences - lack of clarity about costs because the Oskfields Group (now trading under the name of Glass House Architecture Limited) did not make it clear that they would not be fitting orangery. Left with leaking roof - started leaking within a week of completion in October 2022 and Mark and Kasia Caulfield have failed to respond to numerous attempts from my end to contact them. I do not recommend this company.
