Wright Andrew

Since 1937 Andrew Wright Windows have been serving the community (see the areas we serve) and are the Company of choice in the West of Scotland for windows, doors, roofline, flat roof replacement, conservatories and sunrooms. Even 70 years ago Andrew Wright was the biggest glazing firm in the West of Scotland. In 1938, the Company was the main glazing contractor for the British Empire Exhibition, held at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. There are several buildings from that exhibition still standing, glazing intact!

Andrew Sloan Wright, founder of the Company, was also Chairman of Ayr Unitied and actively involved with the Club for over 20 years. After World War 2, Andrew Wright Glass won the contract to re-glaze blitz-damaged Belfast, yet another prestigious undertaking. The Company is family-owned, employing skilled workers, producing a very special product and service entirely made in Ayrshire by Andrew Wright Windows and Andrew Wright Glass at their own factories.
