About the Business

With showrooms in Wymondham and Diss, we cover the whole Norfolk area – so if you’re looking for a local conservatory company, choose one that’s a little bit different. Choose Conservatories Etc. We’re independent, and proud of it. We’re a member of TrustMark, the government-backed consumer protection scheme. We’re different, and we like it that way.

Over the past ten years we’ve built hundreds of orangeries and conservatories across Norfolk. We only use top quality products from the industry’s leading manufacturers – it’s one of the perks of being independent. No one tells us what to sell. We’re a fully accredited Synseal installer because we think they’re the best conservatory and orangery manufacturers – and because they trust us.

We know our customers want more than a beautiful new conservatory or orangery. We know they want peace of mind that we will carry out all work to a high standard. That’s why Conservatories Etc is a member of the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA). The CPA has extensively vetted us, collecting customer feedback from everyone we’ve worked for. For the first two quarters of 2016, 100% of our customer feedback was positive.

Conservatories

Conservatories

We’ve created hundreds of conservatories across Norfolk, and each one is different. We believe your conservatory should work for your home and your lifestyle. It should feel like an extension of both. That’s why we give our customers a huge amount of choice with their design – even with something as simple as a leantoconservatory. With traditional and modern styles, as well as a wide range of frame and glass colours, you can create something unique to you.

Whatever your property’s style and period, we can build a conservatory that will match it perfectly and suit your needs. With more than ten years’ experience of installing conservatories, we can advise you what would work best for you – whether it’s a simple leantoconservatory or an elegant Edwardian build.

Orangeries

Orangeries

Orangery Construction: An orangery features uPVC windows and doors fitted between brickwork pillars. Unlike orangeries, conservatories are entirely constructed from uPVC. Orangery roofs have a specially vaulted sill that extends about one metre, with a raised and bevelled centre. This forms a classic silhouette which suits the elegant appearance of Norfolk country homes.

Uses for Orangeries: Thanks to their versatile design, you can adapt orangeries to a range of purposes. Whether it’s a dining room, playroom, living room, or even a home office, your orangery will be a light, airy room that’s a pleasure to be in. Our team have been creating orangeries in Norfolk for years, and can work with you to create the space you want.

Design Options:

When it comes to orangery designs, you have a lot of choice. Our team will work with you to create a versatile room that works for you – however you want to use it.

uPVC Windows: Our A+ rated uPVC windows offer industry-leading energy efficiency and feature an eight-point locking system that’s virtually burglar proof. Manufactured to order for your property, our uPVC windows are available in fifteen standard colours – and we can mix special bespoke colours, too.

Aluminium Windows: Our aluminium windows feature the same A-rated glass as our uPVC windows. They’re just as secure and durable, with an eight-point locking system and a special gasket system that prevents water damage. Choose from fifteen standard frame colours or have your own colour created bespoke.

Front Doors: Your front door should be more than an attractive feature – it should keep your home as safe as houses. Our composite doors come in a huge selection of styles and colours, and come with brilliant security features as standard. These include a multiple point locking system, an anti-bump system that prevents forced entry, and two large dog bolts.

Sliding: Taking up very little space, sliding doors are a practical and attractive solution that let plenty of light into your home. Our sliding doors consist of two panels and can be constructed up to 3 metres in width, in either uPVC or aluminium. Like all of our doors, you can choose from a range of frame and glass colours to create something that suits your home perfectly.

French: French doors are an elegant way to open up a space. Bring the outside in with French doors on your conservatory leading out to your garden, or maximise your indoor space with French doors between your house and your conservatory that can be opened up when you have guests round. Constructed as a double door with a maximum width of 1.9 metres, all of our French doors are manufactured with uPVC and specially toughened A-rated glass.

Bi-Folding: These long, concertina-style doors can create a large opening between your house and garden, or on the front of your conservatory. On a hot summer’s day, it’s the height of luxury. Manufactured from aluminium, our bi-folding doors are smooth and easy to operate, sitting in a special frame with wheels at the base and a glider at the top. Like all of our doors they feature high quality deadlocks and hook bolts, and come in a range of styles and colours.

We had a bad experience with the installation of our conservatory last year, exacerbated by poor management and lack of all forms of communication by the company. Some 8 months on, we eventually saw an independent assessor complete the necessary improvements and we released final payment, on the email agreement that we'd receive full documentation by return. 6 months on and we have still to receive the Part P certificate, which we've been told we can't get as the electrician is no longer 'available'. We hope never to have any further problems with our conservatory as I wouldn't like to test their 10 year guarantee page.
